Precise Form for an Imprecise World
TURN ON. TUNE IN. GO UP.︎︎︎1
BLUE SKY THINKING AND THE QUESTION OF - WHAT IF?
1 A variation on Timothy Leary’s famous 1966 aphorism: Tune in, turn on, drop out, which apparently was given to him by media theorist Marshall McLuhan. Today, like then, dropping out is a form of resistance against old and rigid structures, .i.e. a form of progress. Going up is a form of engagement that is really a corollary of dropping out rather than the negation of it.
